ORIGINALS

For years I have hoarded almost all my original drawings and paintings. Fewer than 10 pieces are in private collections and I sold only those because I had to. I have always thought it would be great to keep them together as a collection for a museum or for Julian to decide one day what to do with them. With as much time as they take to make, it's hard to come up with a fair price, and even harder for me to part with. You may have heard an artist or songwriter say, "they're my babies." Well, that's how I feel. Most pencil drawings take me over 500 hours to make each. It doesn't take quite so much time for an oil painting, but almost as much.

I have decided, once again out of necessity, to sell some originals and accept commissions for some new works.
