I hope you have had a great summer. It has been a hot - HOT one down here in Louisiana. I think most of you know we have moved back home to Louisiana and since we have been here everything has gone our way. We have a fantastic new gallery in the heart of the French Quarter located at 621 Chartres St. and I hope you will come see us soon. The city is coming back. You will have a great time. For the last couple of months I have been working on a very cool color pencil drawing (Prismacolor), my 2008 Mardi Gras design I have entitled "The Mask", and I am pleased to unveil it for you today. I am thrilled with the result and hope you feel the same way. A lot of people have asked me to make something long and narrow for several years, so I have finally made that wish come true. The design (which be released in limited number on a first-come-first-serve basis) I am making available to my loyal regular customers so order one today.
These pieces will be shipped as they are printed and are available as posters, glicees, or serigraphs (see below). Giclees will be shipped in the next 2 - 3 weeks. Posters will be ready mid-November and the serigraphs, depending on my fantastic silkscreen printer Padraig Conway in Ireland, around the 1st of January. These fine art serigraphs are hand-pulled and take a lot of time to produce. SIGNED, NUMBERED, LIMITED EDITION poster will measure approximately 30
x 14 inches and the edition will be 500/500. They will be signed and numbered,
a limited edition print. It will have a white background printed on thick
card stock paper stock.They will be signed in black under the image. The
large mask, as well as other parts of the image will be embossed (raised)
and the shadows of the letters "MARDI GRAS" and " NEW OREANS", as well
as some other details will be gold-foiled embossed. Those of you who own
other Mardi Gras posters of mine can easily imagine what I mean. These
will look ABSOLUTELY fantastic - so cool. The price: $45 plus $7 for shipping.
MUSEUM QUALITY GICLEE

A giclee is the finest state of the art, digital reproduction on the market today. These are truly beautiful pieces and look almost as good as the original. These beautiful pieces will last a lifetime. This version is a SIGNED, NUMBERED AND GOLDLEAFED LIMITED EDITION. This giclee measures 14 X 10 inches and has a black background. I personally gold leaf these pieces by hand and the 10 artist proofs will have extra, really extensive multi- color gold leafing. They will be signed in a permanent liquid gold marker.
Price: $275 including FREE SHIPPING. This limited edition will have a total of 10 really fancy Artist Proofs as well as 100 signed and numbered pieces. They are printed on high quality archival paper and printed with UV inks. For those of you who have one of my giclees, you know what I mean. When these giclees are released and sold in the gallery they will cost between $350 - $450.
